Alot of people when they see the name Hellfire Ministries wonder why we called it that.  Why our logo is so “scary”.  Let’s be honest and real.  When we take that last breath on this earth there’s only one of two places we are going to go.  That’s either Heaven or hell.  Our society has taken God and tried to make Him a God of love only.  God loved us enough to send His only begotten Son to save us from our sins and as a way to reconcile us with Him.  We fail to preach the righteous, just and holy attributes of God.  There will be a day of judgement and every knee shall bow to an almighty God.  This is our purpose, to get back to preaching all the attributes of God, not just the ones people feel comfortable with.  To deny all the attributes of God is to create a false God in our minds.  Our sin keeps us from God and one day that sin will be judged.  Romans 5:1 states “Therefore being justified by faith we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”.  If we don’t put our faith in Christ alone for our salvation we are not at peace with God, we are an enemy of God and will one day be judged and suffer His wrath.  God is both just and justifier and He must punish sin and only through the blood of Christ can you be found not guilty.

Hellfire ministries hits the streets, bike rally’s, shelters and missions with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Christ commanded us to go out and spread the Gospel in Mark 16:15 and we take that command very seriously.  We live in a lost and dying world that has turned it’s back on God.   When Hellfire Ministries hits the streets to spread the good news of the gospel we unashamedly preach the word of God.  There is no compromise!  To compromise the word of God is to give a false gospel that will lead people straight to hell.

Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ”

Everyday we enter into the mission field.  Whether it’s at home, at work, at school, or even just hangin with our friends.  We are constantly presented with opportunities to spread the gospel.  

Hellfire Ministries is also very active in showing the love of Christ.  We’ve seen God change lives through our local homeless shelter and on Saturdays and Sundays we open up the Open Door in Waynesville to give them a hot breakfast and of course the word of God.  We have a saying, “The body doesn’t get fed till the soul get’s fed”.  We give them the gospel of Jesus Christ.
